Film & TV Safety Coordinators

One coordinator. Your production’s safety provisions, connected. Embedded support that takes the pressure of safety management off your production team.

CS-15 on location

One person embedded in your team.

Our Safety Coordinator service goes beyond traditional on-set health and safety support. Involved from the beginning, your dedicated coordinator combines practical health and safety advice with managing the logistics of the other safety provisions your production needs.

That means fewer separate bookings, clearer communication and better continuity of safety cover from prep through wrap.

The right people. In the right place. On the right days.

Your coordinator brings the different parts of your production’s safety provision together.

Health and safety advice

Support with production safety planning, documentation, communication with Heads of Department and practical oversight as the shoot develops.

Medical cover coordination

Allocate Unit Medics and Prep Medics around the production schedule, with a clear point of contact for the cover your production needs.

Specialist safety personnel

Coordinate fire safety, water safety and other specialist safety support so the relevant people are scheduled around the activities and locations involved.

CS-15 ambulance and response vehicle

Safety professionals. Qualified medics.

Our Safety Coordinators hold relevant NEBOSH qualifications and are qualified medics themselves.

Alongside their coordination role, they can assist with minor injuries within their qualifications and the agreed production medical plan. This can help reduce avoidable interruptions to dedicated on-set medical cover.

The coordinator service complements your production’s medical provision. Clinical responsibilities and staffing arrangements are agreed for the production.

Frontline experience. Practical production safety.

Our team is made up of current and former frontline emergency service crew. That practical experience informs the advice we give, the plans we put in place and the way we work alongside your production.

Safety Coordinator questions

How does a Safety Coordinator differ from a Health & Safety Advisor?

The coordinator combines health and safety support with the logistics of your wider safety provision, including medical cover and specialist personnel. The aim is to remove that organisational workload from your production team.

Can the coordinator organise Unit Medics and Prep Medics?

Yes. Coordinating those personnel around the production schedule is part of the service, alongside fire safety, water safety and other agreed specialist provisions.

Does a coordinator replace our Unit Medic?

The coordinator service complements dedicated medical cover. The coordinator’s clinical responsibilities and the production’s staffing arrangements are agreed within the medical plan.

When should we involve a Safety Coordinator?

Early involvement gives the coordinator time to understand the production and bring the different safety provisions together. Contact us during planning so we can discuss the scope and schedule.

Take the logistical pressure off your production team.

Tell us your dates, locations and what your shoot involves. We’ll help you choose the right level of safety support.
